Dr. Ashish Chakravarty

Dr Ashish Chakravarty is a Senior Consultant in Neuroanaesthesiology and Neurointerventional Pain Medicine at Artemis Hospital, Gurgaon. He has previously worked in the Department of Neurosciences at Medanta, The Medicity, Gurgaon, Sitaram Bharatia Institute of Science and Research, New Delhi and the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. Dr. Ashish Chakravarty is a prominent personality in the field of Interventional Pain Medicine. He has authored several chapters in books related to Interventional Pain Management and has been invited as Faculty at various National and International pain conferences. Dr Chakravarty has conducted many training programs in Interventional Pain Medicine under the banner of “Pain Cure India” and is the Founder of the “The Indian Pain School” whose current project (Mission 2020) is to train approximately 60 pain practitioners in tier-2 cities in the year 2019-20. This number is set to grow exponentially in the coming years. He has many ‘firsts’to his credit as well. He was the first physician in Artemis to have started Cooled Radiofrequency procedures for back pain, Endoscopic Discectomy for sciatica and Percutaneous Balloon Compression for Trigeminal Neuralgia and Trigeminal Autonomic Cephalgia.
